The downfall of G Connor Hellebuyck in the playoffs needs to be studied because he is one of the best regular-season goalies in the NHL, but come playoff time, he becomes one of the biggest liabilities. He now has a 4.42 GAA and .783 SV%. The Jets have the second-lowest shots per game with 22.8. There isn't much else the defense can do at this point. Offensively, they have also lost their stride, averaging 2.83 goals per game, 5th worst in the playoffs. To top it off, C Mark Scheifele will miss his second game in a row. Expect the Jets' stellar regular season to be for naught as they get upset in the first round by the Blues, making it the third year in a row with a first-round exit.
