5 Picks (18 Units).
6:35PM EST: Orioles ML +115 (5 Units).
LP: Z. Eflin (BAL).
Jacob DeGrom is set to make his 2026 debut. He was scratched from his originally planned start last week with neck stiffness. 2025 was his first fully healthy season since 2019. He made just 1 spring start on March 10th and he pitched well. They just won't push him too far in this on. BAL SP Zach Eflin struggled in 2025 trying to pitch through a back injury. He eventually got surgery in August to get healthy for 2026. His Velo is back up and he wrapped up spring with 5.1 scoreless 1-hit innings against the Yankees. He had a 3.59 ERA in 28 starts in 2024 and a 3.5 ERA in 31 starts in 2023. The Orioles top relievers also got last night off in a loss, whereas the Rangers used theirs.
7:15PM EST: Athletics ML +135 (3 Units).
LP: A. Civale (ATH) / J. Suarez (ATL).
Civale was in a weird spot as the odd man out of a loaded Brewers starting rotation last year. He had a 3.53 ERA in 14 starts for Milwaukee in 2024. He forced a trade and landed on the White Sox before eventually being traded again to the Cubs. He has respectable career ERA of 4.14. He finished spring with 6 shutout innings against the Mariners, striking out 11. ATL SP Jose Suarez has been primarily used in long relief since 2023. It's a role he will slide back into when the Braves starting rotation is healthy. He did pitch well in his last couple spring starts but he has a 5.3 career ERA. The Athletics offense has also been much stronger vs LHP, hitting .267 with an .846 OPS.
7:40PM EST: Angels ML +125 (4 Units).
LP: J. Soriano (LAA) / J. Taillon (CHC).
Jose Soriano opened the season with 6 shutout innings in Houston. He didn't allow a run in either of his last 2 spring training starts too. He had a 2.74 ERA on the road in 2024 and a 2.91 ERA on the road in 2025. He's also a heavy ground ball pitcher which will play in today's overcast. CHC SP Jameson Taillon made 5 spring starts, posting a 17.55 ERA, .406 BA allowed, and 2.63 WHIP. He surrendered 2 homeruns in each of his 5 starts. The Angels bats cooled a bit last night but they still lead the MLB with 10 home runs. Yoan Moncada hit one last night.
7:40PM EST: TB/MIL Under 7.5 (3 Units).
LP: S. McClanahan (TB) / B. Woodruff (MIL).
McClanahan's had quite the journey back to the majors, getting Tommy John in 2023 and then nerve surgery in 2025. From 2021-2023 he had a 3.02 ERA in 74 starts. He's back, he's healthy, and had a 2.08 ERA in spring. Each of his last two spring starts were scoreless outings. MIL SP Brandon Woodruff has a 3.1 career ERA. He underwent major surgery in 2023 causing him to miss all of 2024 and most of the 2025 season. When he did return in 2025 he picked up right where he left off, posting a 3.2 ERA in 12 starts. He's good to go heading in 2026 and at Home where he boasts a 2.86 career ERA. These starters are backed by two of the best bullpens in baseball.
7:45PM EST: Cardinals ML +135 (3 Units).
LP: A. Pallente (STL).
NYM SP Kodai Senga pitched well in spring, but he worked up to just 63 pitches in his final spring outing. He'll be floating around the 80-pitch mark here. That's an issue for the Mets as their bullpen's been taxed. Luke Weaver had yesterday off but he's still up to 38 pitches over the last 3 days. Their closer and other setup man pitched last night and 3 nights back. This early in the season they're going to throw some lesser arms in this one. The Cardinals offense has shown relentlessness in their first series against the Rays, plating 15 of their 22 runs against Rays relievers. That's a Rays bullpen that'll finish amongst the best in baseball.
STL SP Andre Pallente improved in each of his 4 spring outings, finishing with 1 ER on 5 IP. He allowed 1 run exactly in each of his 4 spring starts. His .167 BA allowed and .93 WHIP speak to his form. He had a rough 2nd half in 2025 but had a 3.56 ERA in 20 starts in 2024 and a 4.49 ERA in 18 starts before the break last year. The Cardinals top trio of relievers haven't pitched in a couple days and are poised to follow in a close game here today.
