The Hurricanes only allowed 20 shots against G Frederik Anderson. However, Anderson had an uncharacteristically bad performance, letting in five goals. Even after that performance, Anderson still has an incredible 1.74 GAA and .919 SV% this postseason. As for the Panthers, they allowed 33 shots in Game 1, which is much higher than their 24.5 postseason average. It seems the Hurricanes' offense, which is averaging 33.2 shots per game this postseason, might be too much for the Panthers' defense to contain. This means the Panthers will rely heavily on G Sergei Bobrovsky. Expect the Hurricanes to bounce back at home tonight with Anderson playing a lot better and the Hurricanes finding more success scoring on Bobrovsky.
