They also have G Darcy Kuemper defending the crease remarkably well this year going 14-4-6 with a 2.09 GAA and .920 SV%. However, offensively they have struggled, ranking 20th in goals per game, 28th in powerplay, and 23rd in shots per game. These struggles have been even worse lately, only scoring more than twice two times in their last ten games. This bodes well for the Red Wings' G Cam Talbot who has been great in his previous five starts going 4-1 with a 2.36 GAA and .926 SV% over that span. The Red Wings also have a few fresh injuries in C Patrick Kane, C J.T. Compher, and RW Vladimir Tarasenko, their 5th, 6th, and 7th points leaders. Therefore, expect great performances from these goalies tonight given the favorable matchups with goals in low supply.
