These are two top teams in the league and will entertain fans tonight. However, the Hurricanes have the edge in this one averaging more goals per game and allowing less, while also having a better powerplay and penalty kill this season. The Panthers got the best of them earlier in the season winning back-to-back games, one at home and one away, but the Hurricanes had Spencer Martin and Yaniv Perets in goal. Both goalies no longer get playtime in the NHL and Pyotr Kochetkov has performed very similarly to Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky; Kochetkov is 14-7-1 with a 2.52 GAA and .899 SV% while Bobrovsky is 17-7-1 with a 2.81 GAA and .896 SV%. Expect a different result tonight than earlier this year with the Hurricanes coming out on top.
