Both teams are capable scorers and while it is a more difficult task for the Sabres, it is very favorable for the Hurricanes. The Sabres allow the 6th most goals per game and have the 21st-ranked penalty kill. To top it off, G Dustin Tokarski is getting the start for the Hurricanes and while he has been great in his five starts, he will unlikely keep it up. As for the Sabres G Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen gets the nod and he has struggled considerably with a 3.02 GAA and .896 SV% on the season and over his last ten starts has a 3.51 GAA and .881 SV%. Expect the Hurricanes to score easily in this one and for the Sabres to find the back of the net in a high-scoring game.
