The Kings are the best defensive team in the NHL allowing the least goals and shots per game while boasting the 10th-ranked penalty kill. This defensive prowess has produced a lot of success and tonight's expected G Darcy Kuemper has been the biggest beneficiary, going 12-2-5 with a 2.16 GAA and .919 SV%. It hasn't been the same for the Oilers' G Stuart Skinner who is 16-9-3 with a 2.77 GAA and .898 SV%, as they have found success mainly through their offense. Tonight will be a close game between these teams, with the Oiler's offense likely to struggle to find its usual form against the Kings' stout defense. Expect a similar outcome to their matchup a few weeks ago with the Kings coming out on top again.
