The Predators are terrible this year and have lost five in a row, going 2-8 in their last ten, and have the lowest win total in the league. This poor performance has been due to their nonexistent offense generating the lowest goals per game and allowing the twelfth-most per game. This mediocre defensive effort has been held up primarily by Juuse Saros in goal. However, tonight recently acquired goalie Justus Annunen will make his debut and he has been terrible. The Canadiens offense hasn't been stellar this year but the return of Patrick Laine will lead to improvements as he has already scored one in his return last game. Expect the Canadiens to come away with this one at home with the return of Laine and going against Annunen in the net.
