It will be difficult for them to climb out of this slump without Nikolaj Ehlers who is 3rd in goals, 4th in assists, and 3rd in points for the Jets. As for the Blues, they score the 4th fewest goals per game in the league and are also missing a key piece of their offense in Pavel Buchnevich, who is 4th in goals, 2nd in assists, and 2nd in points on the team. To top it off Connor Hellebuyck will be behind the crease tonight with a 2.11 GAA and .928 SV% and as a team, the Jets allow the 2nd-lowest goals per game. Given the Jets' offensive slump and stellar defense going against one of the worst offenses, with both teams suffering from recent injuries to a top contributor, expect a low-scoring game.
