The Kings are a great defensive team. They have only allowed 2.88 GA/G, the ninth-best, 25.5 SA/G, the second-best, and have the seventh-most takeaways per 60 with 5.71. Darcy Kuemper (4-2-3, 2.65 GAA, .899 SV%) and Alexander Georgiev (3-5, 3.76 GAA, .862 SV%) will be in goal tonight. In Kuemper's last six starts, he has a 2.17 GAA and .906 SV%. Georgiev has improved from his horrible start to the season, but he does not have the same defensive support from his team. The Avalanche have allowed the third most goals with a 3.81 GA/G, have a 72.1 PK%, the fifth-worst, and a 15.14 GvA/60, the ninth-worst. With Colorado's heavy reliance on their offense to get wins, expect this to be a tough game for them at home and for the Kings to outperform them as they face Colorado's porous defense.
