The Predators have a star-studded lineup after their offseason acquisitions of C Steven Stamkos, C Jonathan Marchessault, and D Brady Skjei. It is an exciting year for them after going to the playoffs last year, before they went all in this offseason. As for the Stars, they still have one of the best rosters in the Western Conference. However, they lost two valuable pieces with C Joe Pavelski retiring, and D Chris Tanev via trade that will certainly shake things up for them, leaving big shoes to fill. Overall expect this to be a close game between two top playoff teams, but with the Predators getting ahead at home after their offseason moves.
