7:10PM EST: (BAL) Colton Cowser Over 1.5 Bases +135 (2 Units).
Rookie Jackson Holliday's call up is grabbing the headlines but fellow rookie Colton Cowser has been red hot. He made the Opening Day roster as the 4th Outfielder and has 7 Hits with 11 total bases in just 15 plate appearances this season. He got the start yesterday and went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles. He's penciled in at Left Field again today and starts his day off against BOS SP Kutter Crawford. This is Crawford's first Home start in 2024, he pitched to a 6.0 ERA at Fenway in 2023. Good Value on Cowser +135.
7:40PM EST: (ROYALS) FIRST PLATE APPEARANCES ONLY!
Maikel Garcia to Walk/HBP +850 (1 Unit),
Bobby Witt Jr to Walk/HBP +800 (1 Unit).
V. Pasquantino to Walk/HBP +700 (1 Unit).
Houston's called up their top pitching prospect Spencer Arrighetti to make his MLB Debut. He has a career BB/9 of 4.37 in the Minors. He had a 5.06 BB/9 in AAA last year and is at 7.56 after 2 starts this year thanks to walking 7 in just 8.1 IP. He already has command issues and the zones called tighter in the Bigs. Young guys can struggle with command and especially early on in their debuts as they battle the nerves. Being on the road certainly doesn't make things any easier for him. These are the 1,2, and 3 hitters for the Royals and this is an attempt to cash in before he settles into the game.
