Ober has been on a great streak with 10 quality starts in a row going 7-1 with a 1.86 ERA, 9.96 K/9, and a 0.811 WHIP over that span. Perez has been struggling this season, but since moving to the Padres he has improved greatly bringing his ERA down to 4.62 from 5.20 in three games.
