Cade Cavalli is making his 2nd big league start. He didn't allow a run on 3 hits and 1 walk across 4.1 IP at Home against the Athletics last week. He allowed 4 runs or more in 5 of his last 6 minor league starts before getting called up though. Pitching on the road here we expect the struggles to come back. The recently acquired Bailey Falter flopped in his Royals debut. He has struggled on the road this year and Fenway's a tough venue. Some nerves having been traded for as well. Kauffman stadium isn't the typical familiar Home venue for him since he just arrived in KC, but it is a pitcher friendly one. He allowed 1 run exactly in each of his final 2 starts in Pittsburgh. He hasn't allowed more than 3 runs in back-to-back starts all year either. Washington is also 20th in OPS vs LHP and they traded away two of their best bats vs LHP at the deadline.
