Major League Players Club MLB 1-5 Units (7/14/24)

MLB

1 Pick. 4:05PM EST: TOR/AZ Under 8 (5 Units). TOR SP Yusei Kikuchi is coming off one of his best starts of the season, allowing 2 runs over 7.1 IP @ SF while striking out a career high of 13. He also held Houston to 2 runs over 5.2 IP in his first July Start. He has a 3.74 Road ERA overall this season. ARI SP Zac Gallen is coming off a bad Home Start and those are an anomaly. He has a 2.36 ERA at Home this year, a 2.47 ERA at Home in 2023, and a 2.49 ERA at Home in 2022. Like him to bounce back and return to form today.

Big Ticket here is the All-Star Break starting tomorrow. After yesterday's blowout, all the top relievers are fresh for today. Arizona hasn't used their top relievers at all either despite being 2-0 in this series so far. Regardless of the score each team will roll out their top relievers as they get the next 4 days off. Arizona tacked on 7 in the 8th and 9th against Toronto's worst relievers but won't get a similar opportunity today.
