3 Pick (11 Units).
7:10PM EST: Guardians/Tigers Under 8.5 (3 Units).
LP: J. Jobe (DET).
CLE SP Slade Cecconi allowed 3 ER on 5 IP in his 2025 debut against Cinci last week. He allowed just 1 run on 3 hits through the first 5 innings. He let each of the first 2 batters reach in the 6th and was subsequently pulled. Detroit has just 1 career plate appearance vs Cecconi, so he'll have that working for him early in this game. Detroit's offense has gone cold, batting .216 with a .604 OPS over the last week. DET SP Jackson Jobe has 2.3 ERA through 3 Home Starts. He's allowed 3 ER or less in all but one start this season and that came at Coors Field. He's run into some length issues, but the Tigers have one of the best bullpens in baseball and they’re fresh from a day off yesterday. The top half of the Guardians bullpen has also rounded back into form. They had the best bullpen last season and they're back pitching like it.
8:10PM EST: Royals ML +160 (4 Units).
LP: N. Cameron (KC)
Rookie Noah Cameron has made 2 starts this year. He tossed 6.1 scoreless on 79 pitches in Tampa on April 30th, and 6.1 innings of 1 run ball on 81 pitches vs STL last Saturday. He's allowed just 3 combined hits in those 2 starts. He has a 2.69 ERA with a 10.3 SO9 in 16 career starts at AAA. The Twins are 18th in BA and 19th in OPS vs LHP. They've also scored 3 runs or less in 3 of their last 5 games. KC has an elite bullpen and it's fresh having yesterday off.
MIN SP Pablo Lopez has a 2.4 ERA and 2.8 xERA so he's been tough. He does have a 3.94 ERA in 3 Home Starts and each of his 3 Home opponents were ranked 15th or lower in OPS this season. Length has been an issue for him, pitching 5 innings or less in 4 of his 8 starts. He went 5 innings exactly in 2 of his 3 Home starts. He allowed 1 run but lasted just 4.2 IP in his lone start vs KC this year. He allowed 3 runs on 6 IP vs KC the last time he hosted them. The Royals have 120 career plate appearances vs Lopez so they can make him work. The Royals did close out their last series by plating 8 runs @ SF in a game Logan Webb started.
8:40PM EST: NYY/COL Over 11.5 (4 Units).
LP: C. Schmidt (NYY) / T. Gordon (COL).
Clarke Schmidt has pitched well in May, but he has a 7.2 ERA on the road. He's a fly ball pitcher that's allowed 5 Homeruns through 6 starts and 35.2 IP. 4 of those 5 Homeruns have come on the road and Coors Field isn't the venue to correct that. The Rockies offense has been miserable this season, but the return of Ezequiel Tovar has gone a long way. They're 10th in BA and 9th in OPS over the last week. COL SP Tanner Gordon should be in the minors. He had an 8.65 ERA in 8 Starts for the Rockies last season. He's made 1 MLB start in 2025, allowing 7 Runs (4 ER) on 6.1 IP vs Detroit on May 8th. He has a 6.23 ERA in 8 AAA starts this year. He's made 2 AAA starts since facing the Tigers and allowed 8 ER on 5.2 IP, and 4 ER on 5.1 IP. If he's chased early the Yankees could cover this themselves against a very bad bottom half of the Rockies bullpen.
