He had a 3.41 ERA last season but an xERA of 2.72. He's pitched really well for the Athletics. He's a fly ball pitcher and that can be trouble at Coors field but that's when the weather heats up. It's sub 40° with 14 MPH winds blowing in. Coors is 1st in park factor offensively but only 8th when it comes to Homeruns. COL SP Ryan allowed 2 runs on 5IP in his first start. He allowed 2 runs on 5 IP in his final spring start as well. The A's do their damage via the long ball and it's just a tough day for it at Coors Field.

His career ERA is nearly a full point lower on the road compared to at Home. The Nationals offense is also off to a rough start, hitting .213 with a .685 OPS so far this season. They've scored just 21 runs in 6 games and have been held to 3 or fewer in 4 of them.

WSH SP Jake Irvin gave up 2 Runs on 5 IP vs PHI despite allowing 7 hits and 2 walks. He allowed 12 Hard-Hit Balls and had an xERA of 9.21. He also gave up 6ER on 5.2 IP in his final spring start. He's like Pfaadt with some Home struggles. In his first full big league season last year he had a 5.01 ERA at Home compared to a 4.03 on the Road. Arizona also boasts one of the best offenses in baseball through the early going, averaging 6.43 runs per game.
