His current teammate Yamamoto was overcome by it last year and then proceeded to dominate Major League hitters all year long. Even if he's sharp, he just isn't stretched out. He's made two spring starts, throwing just 41 pitches in his most recent. They aren't going to push him, and they have quality bullpen arms. They likely stay away from their best arms considering they all pitched yesterday. The Cubs are sending out their Lefty Ace Justin Steele. Being a Lefty helps against LA helps and the current Dodgers roster has a lifetime .225 BA against him. He won't pitch too deeply either, but Chicago's best bullpen arms are likely to follow. The price is right on the Cubs.
