2 Picks.
6:40PM EST: A's ML +215 (3 Units).
OAK SP Hogan Harris has allowed 3ER or less in 8 straight and 8 of his 9 starts this year. He posted a 3.2 ERA in 5 June Starts and held the top offense in baseball to 2 runs his last time out. The Phillies are in a bit of a let down spot after a huge series sweep against the Dodgers. They have Ace Ranger Suarez on the mound but going back he's allowed 5, 6, and 4 runs. Philly is 1-2 in his last 3 starts overall. Boston's Tanner Houck returned to All-Star form and shut Oakland down last night but the A's have been one of the hottest offenses in baseball over the past couple weeks. 9:40PM EST: Blue Jays ML +110 (2 Units).
Toronto SP Yariel Rodriguez was a big time FA addition for TOR this off-season but got injured early. He came off the IL on July 1st and allowed just 1 run on 2 hits over 6.2 IP at Home vs Houston. He followed that up with 6 scoreless 1 hit innings against the Mariners last week. Arizona's bats have swung it in July but they managed just 1 run yesterday and 2 runs 3 games back. They're starting to cool and nobody on Arizona has seen Rodriguez before.
Arizona SP Ryne Nelson is the tale of two pitchers with his Home/Away splits. He has a 5.08 ERA on the season with a 6.69 ERA in 7 Home starts and a 3.83 ERA in 9 away games (7 starts). He allowed 6 runs on 10 hits and 2 walks over 3.2 IP to the Twins in his most recent Home start. Toronto's offense has scored 5 or more runs in 4 of their last 5 games as well.
