Both of last season's meetings were one score games. It’s year 2 with Harbaugh at the helm with the same Offensive and Defensive coordinators. They went 11-6 last season and while it may be difficult to build on that overall record this is a team set to improve. They got some extra beef up front offensively to further implement Harbaugh's and Greg Roman's physical approach. We love the RB Omarion Hampton pickup from UNC for them as well. The Chargers had the 2nd ranked scoring defense last year under Jesse Minter. His defense was more complex in his final season at Michigan compared to the Chargers defense last year. He disguises and blitzes as well as any defensive coach in the game. All key pieces of that defense are back for 2025. Similar story for the Chargers offense outside of the RB room. The Chiefs are a well-oiled machine but the Bolts banged with them twice last year. Playing at Home in the season opener is the spot to catch them.
