The 49ers are just a bit too banged up in this spot. McVay and the Rams have scored 27 or more on SF's defense in 4 of their last 5 games at Home against them. SF lost Nick Bosa for the year and they'll be without some other depth on that DL for this game as well. SF surrendered 26 at Home to the Jaguars last week, allowing 4.7 YPC. The Rams offense struggled in Week 1 but has scored 26 or more in 3 straight since. They've also been efficient running the football, averaging 4.5 YPC. The Rams are going to score some points here and the real Mac Jones is going to show up inevitably. He's played okay with positive game script supporting him but what happens when he's forced to drop back and let it rip. There's no Aiyuk, Kittle, or even Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall to throw to. The 49ers are just hurting in the worst way right now.
