Starters unlikely to play much if at all which gives the Giants a massive QB edge in this game. Detroit will play QB Nate Sudfeld who has just 37 career passing attempts. Then they'll go to Hendon Hooker who's yet to make an NFL passing attempt be it pre or regular season. New York sends out Drew Lock who's thrown for nearly 6K yards as a starter for multiple teams. When he's done, they'll turn to Tommy Devito who played in 9 games for the Giants last year and won 3 as a starter. These snaps just matter more to the Giants. They went 6-11 last year and are looking for key contributors all over the roster. The Lions return most of their talent from their 12-5 and Super Bowl worthy 2023 team. They'll go deeper into their roster earlier as much of their depth chart’s been solidified.
