This game likely decides the final spot for the Big 10 Tournament. Iowa's got no shot at the NCAA Tournament outside of actually winning the Big 10 Tournament but Nebraska's still firmly on the bubble. A Win today and a decent Big 10 Tournament run and they can find themselves dancing. Nebraska has hit a bit of a rough patch to end the season, losing 5 of their last 6. 2 of those were close games against Michigan and Maryland though. Iowa's also lost 5 of their last 6 and have just 3 wins over their last 14 games. They're 1-8 on the road this season with the lone win coming over Rutgers. Each of their last 7 road losses have come by double digits. They're 28th in offensive rating and 179th in defensive rating. The problem is their offense simply doesn't travel, seeing their shooting % drop from 51.1% at Home to just 44.9% on the road. That bad defense also gets worse, allowing 75.3 points per game at Home and 85.8 on the road. Brice Williams should have a field day on this Iowa defense. He's one of the best players and scorers in the Country playing in his final collegiate home game. The Cornhusker faithful will be there in full force today.
