Being the NIT Tournament, this is also a home game, where Oklahoma State has won 5 of their last 6 games. That includes a win over Iowa State, a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and KenPom's 10th ranked team. Their students and fans show up to every game despite the Cowboys being pretty bad each of the last two seasons. Oklahoma State's SOS ranks 45th compared to Wichita's 116th ranking. Playing in the American conference Wichita just hasn't played many good basketball teams and it's been ugly when they do. Even Depaul beat them by 19 and they're one of the worst teams in the Big East. There are different levels in College Sports and Oklahoma State plays at a much higher one.
