Indiana's won 7 of their last 8 games and they've done so with defense. Since March they're 16th in offensive rating and 7th in defensive rating. Since acquiring Luka the Lakers have declined defensively. Trading one of the best defensive players in the league for an offensive one will do that. Even with the Lakers at full strength we like the improved Pacers defense to get the job done. Defense matters more as the intensity picks up late in the NBA regular season. The Lakers have also lost each of their last 3 games and 7 of their last 10. They've also lost by double digits in each of the last 3 games that Lebron's played in.
